Hashgraph Group Debuts BrandBoost to Bring Real-Time Loyalty to Hedera

The new H4E product turns static loyalty into real-time, tokenised engagement across sports, media, and telco.

The Hashgraph Group (THG) is taking aim at the multi-billion-dollar loyalty market with BrandBoost. THG has spent years building enterprise infrastructure on Hedera, from digital asset wallets to self-sovereign identity. BrandBoost extends that work into consumer engagement as a new SaaS gamification layer inside the Hashgraph for Enterprise (H4E) product suite. Brands can deploy the platform across sports, media, entertainment, telco, and other consumer-facing sectors. Importantly, the launch positions THG against legacy loyalty vendors that still rely on static points programs. The company built BrandBoost directly on Hedera’s distributed ledger technology to support tokenized rewards at enterprise scale.

Moving Beyond Static Loyalty Programs

Traditional loyalty schemes reward consumers after the purchase, often days or weeks later. In contrast, BrandBoost engages consumers during live events and digital touchpoints in real time. The platform also tailors incentives to behavior, location, and context rather than transaction history alone. Stefan Deiss, Co-Founder and CEO of THG, framed the shift directly. “Loyalty programs are no longer just about points and rewards,” Deiss said. He added that brands now need live engagement ecosystems that feel immediate, relevant, and personalised. As a result, BrandBoost positions loyalty as a two-way conversation rather than a back-end accounting function.

The Tech Stack Behind BrandBoost

BrandBoost runs on Hedera’s distributed ledger technology for high-throughput, low-fee token operations. The platform ships with an integrated token studio so brands can mint their own loyalty tokens. Consumers can then earn, spend, trade, and redeem those tokens through micro-transactions inside self-custody wallets. Additionally, THG integrated its AssetGuard wallet to handle self-custody for enterprise deployments. IDTrust provides self-sovereign identity verification for secure onboarding and verifiable engagement. Brands also receive no-code gamification tools, community quests, digital collectibles, and AI-driven analytics. Finally, a 24/7 HashCare helpdesk backs every deployment with enterprise-grade support.

The Truesense Partnership and Proof-of-Presence

BrandBoost also integrates ultra-wideband (UWB) technology through a partnership with Truesense. The UWB layer enables proof-of-presence verification across TVs, set-top boxes, and customer premise equipment. That capability lets brands confirm a consumer was actually present at an event or watching content. Armando Caltabiano, Co-Founder and CEO of Truesense, highlighted the anti-fraud angle. He said the partnership helps trigger new monetisation streams while reducing fraud and account-sharing abuse. For telco operators in particular, that capability addresses a long-standing revenue leakage problem.

Real-World Use Cases Across Industries

For sports brands, BrandBoost enables tokenized match-day incentives tied to attendance and live engagement. Fans can earn rewards for showing up early, visiting concessions, or participating in live polls. Meanwhile, media and entertainment companies can reward viewers for watch time, premieres, and interactive shows. In return, viewers unlock exclusive content, early access, or ad-free viewing windows. Telco operators can deploy subscriber loyalty programs that target churn and reward long tenure. Subscribers might redeem tokens for data boosts, roaming passes, or offers from partner brands. Across every vertical, brands can run quests, leaderboards, and community challenges to deepen fandom.

Where BrandBoost Fits in the H4E Suite

BrandBoost is the latest addition to THG’s Hashgraph for Enterprise (H4E) product line. Other H4E products include AssetGuard for enterprise wallets and IDTrust for decentralised identity. Additionally, EcoGuard targets global carbon markets, while SEALCOIN supports autonomous IoT device transactions. Together, these products form an enterprise-grade layer that sits on top of Hedera. BrandBoost specifically extends that stack into consumer-facing loyalty and engagement use cases. For Hedera itself, the launch deepens enterprise adoption beyond traditional finance and supply chain verticals.

Why Tokenised Loyalty Is Gaining Traction

Traditional loyalty programs lock value inside closed, siloed points systems with limited interoperability. In contrast, tokenised rewards on a public DLT make loyalty assets portable, programmable, and tradable. Brands also gain richer engagement data, while consumers gain real ownership of their rewards. BrandBoost combines that on-chain value layer with behavioural science and AI personalization. As a result, brands can respond to consumer signals in the moment rather than days after the fact. That shift creates the foundation for two-way engagement and new monetisation streams across industries.
