XDC Network’s AI payments marketplace became XDC SI on October 14. That rebrand set the tone for the month. Within days, Concordium joined as the identity layer for agents, and a public x402 facilitator opened to any seller. Meanwhile, MoneyGram and Taurus joined the validator set, and SBI XDC signed a yen stablecoin MOU with Shinhan Card. Retail access widened as well, since Robinhood and Japan’s CoinTrade both listed XDC on October 8. This recap covers XDC Network October 2026 activity through October 27, organized by theme.
Washington has given the technology a new name. President @realDonaldTrump signed an executive order dropping “artificial intelligence” from its official vocabulary and directing all federal departments and agencies to adopt “Super Intelligence” or “SI.” @xdcaitech is among the first to change a product name as XDC SI in response. The shift has reached the largest names in technology. @elonmusk endorsed the term on X, writing that SI is better than AI, and confirmed in a reply that SpaceX “will make that change” to rename its AI division @SpaceXSI. XDC SI Takes the Lead: A New Name, a Verified Identity, and Open Rails
A Rebrand for the Super Intelligence Era
XDC’s agent payments marketplace renamed itself XDC SI on October 14. The change followed Executive Order 14434, which President Trump signed on September 29. The order directs federal agencies to use “Super Intelligence” in place of “artificial intelligence” in non-statutory documents. As a result, the product name now mirrors the vocabulary that US agencies will use. XDC SI kept every existing integration, wallet, and API listing intact. In other words, only the name changed, while the network and its operations stayed the same. Co-founder Atul Khekade positioned the product as “the payment layer for the era of Super Intelligence.”

Concordium Answers the Accountability Question
The next day, XDC selected Concordium as the exclusive identity verification layer for agents on XDC SI. Agent owners submit a government ID and pass a liveness check through the Concordium Wallet. Next, they link their XDC wallet with two signatures that move no funds. The agent then carries a public onchain badge showing that a verified person or business stands behind it. Importantly, the owner’s identity stays offchain. Revealing it requires a court order plus joint action by independent Privacy Guardians, per Concordium’s documentation.
Concordium CEO Boris Bohrer-Bilowitzki summed up the gap the integration fills. “Payment tells you an agent can spend. It doesn’t tell you who answers for it,” he told The Next Web. Notably, XDC marks Concordium’s first full-network integration. Until now, agents adopted the badge one at a time on Ethereum and Solana. Furthermore, XDC SI sponsors the network fees, so developers need no CCD tokens. The deal also includes a revenue share based on the number of verified agents.
Agents keep their existing XDC wallets, code & operations. @Concordium adds the missing piece: a publicly verifiable on-chain badge that a real person or business is accountable — without revealing who. Exclusive for @XDC_SI . Live now.

Open Payment Rails for Any Seller
On October 16, XDC SI opened a public x402 facilitator for any service that wants to accept agent payments. Sellers connect through buyer and seller SDKs with a single URL. The facilitator supports exact, upto, and batch settlement, and XDC SI covers the gas. Pricing starts with 1,000 free settlements per month, then 0.001 USDC per settlement. A week earlier, the marketplace launched Campaigns, a referral tool for listed services. Providers fund welcome credits for new users. In return, they earn 60% of the marketplace’s revenue from those users’ future spending.
Get paid by AI agents on @XDCNetwork. Zero infra. Our public x402 facilitator is live: • Developer-friendly: buyer + seller SDKs, plug in with one URL • Scalable: exact, upto and batch settlement • Reliable: auto RPC + relayer failover + secure • We pay the gas 1,000 settlements/month free. Then pay as you go: 0.001 @USDC each. Demo 👇 https://t.co/vlXxMpw6H8

The conversation moved offline as well. XDC and AWS co-hosted “The Capital Stack for Agentic AI” at XDC’s New York headquarters in early October. AWS’s Anil Nadiminti and Marcellus Martin joined Khekade to discuss agentic commerce and payments infrastructure. Later, the XDC MENA Podcast explored XENIE, the AI intelligence layer for TradeFinex Network. Guests Rebecah Dausen and XDC engineer Tarun Sharma named identity, intent, and integrity as the foundations for institutional AI. Taken together, October moved XDC’s agent story from “agents can pay” to “agents can pay and prove ownership.”
Three New Validators, From Singapore to Geneva to Global Remittances
MoneyGram Takes a Seat in Consensus
MoneyGram announced on October 15 that it will run a validator node on XDC Network. The company serves roughly 60 million active customers across more than 200 countries and territories. Additionally, it operates close to 500,000 retail locations, which makes it the largest payments brand in XDC’s validator set. MoneyGram called the move “another step in our goal to build a more open infrastructure for global money movement.” XDC Network welcomed the firm the same day, and a formal release followed on October 19.
However, the validator role does not move MoneyGram’s remittance flows onto XDC. MoneyGram launched its MGUSD stablecoin in June 2026, and that token runs on Stellar. Instead, the XDC seat gives MoneyGram a direct role in consensus and network governance. Chen Shanlong, XDC’s Chief Partnerships Officer, framed the news in exactly those terms in the announcement. Meanwhile, MoneyGram CPTO Luke Tuttle said the company has spent years integrating blockchain into its payment infrastructure. Co-founder Ritesh Kakkad took a wider view. He argued that AI agents will increasingly initiate payments on behalf of people.

Taurus joined as an institutional validator on October 7. The Geneva firm builds digital asset infrastructure for banks and serves more than 40 clients from 14 offices. Kakkad pointed out that a provider serving some of the world’s largest banks now validates on XDC. Similarly, Taurus co-founder Lamine Brahimi described the role as a direct contribution to network security and resilience. Earlier in the month, Amber Premium Singapore also joined as a masternode validator, according to BeInCrypto. The platform belongs to Nasdaq-listed Amber International and holds a payments licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. As a result, these three firms now sit alongside SBI Holdings, Deutsche Telekom, NTT DOCOMO Global, and Hex Trust.
Welcome @taurus_hq to the @XDCNetwork ecosystem as an institutional validator. Taurus joins our growing validator set, helping strengthen network security and resilience as trade finance and real-world assets move on-chain.

A Yen Stablecoin Corridor Between Tokyo and Seoul
SBI XDC Network APAC, SBI VC Trade, and Shinhan Card signed an MOU in Tokyo on October 20. The partners announced it the following day. Together, they plan proof-of-concept work on a yen-denominated stablecoin for payments between Japan and South Korea. The scope covers card-linked stablecoin payments, wallet-to-wallet transfers, and international trade settlement. Early coverage points to Japanese tourists paying at Korean merchants as a likely first use case. Shinhan Card will also collaborate on XDC Network infrastructure, according to the SBI Group release.
Still, the agreement remains an exploration rather than a launch. The partners have not set a public date for yen stablecoin payments. Nevertheless, the MOU pushes SBI XDC’s work into a cross-border consumer corridor. SBI XDC Network APAC operates as a joint venture between SBI and TradeFinex Tech. Its earlier projects centered on domestic trade finance, including vLEI-based factoring with TOPPAN. Now, a major Korean card issuer will test XDC rails for consumer and trade payments on a busy route.

Robinhood and CoinTrade Open Retail Doors on the Same Day
XDC reached new retail audiences in two countries on October 8. Robinhood added XDC to Robinhood Crypto for eligible US customers, although New York residents cannot trade it. Robinhood also disclosed that it received integration fees related to XDC support, per Crypto Briefing. XDC followed with a press release on October 14 that highlighted the expanded US access. Meanwhile, Japan’s CoinTrade began offering XDC the same day as Robinhood. Mercury Co. operates the exchange, which now lists 26 assets. CoinTrade also added XDC to its recurring purchase feature and plans XDC staking soon, according to VOIX. As a result, US and Japanese retail users gained mainstream on-ramps as institutions joined the validator set.

New York Becomes XDC’s Capital Markets Stage
XDC USA spent late October building its capital markets presence in New York. On October 26, it hosted “Derivatives in Motion” with GSR, Lynq, Derive, and QAIX Alliance. Speakers included Andrew Baehr, Nick Forster, Jerald David, Ari Pine, and XDC Head of Capital Markets Alex Davidoff. The panel covered institutional derivatives, liquidity, and tokenization. The next day, Davidoff represented XDC Tech at The Bridge 2026, an event hosted by The Tie. Additionally, XDC USA confirmed a Gold sponsorship for Digital Assets Forum New York on November 12 and 13.
Builders added infrastructure to match that ambition. Orochi Network announced a partnership on October 24 to bring its zkDatabase to XDC for verifiable RWA data. Orochi claims the integration cuts data costs from about $25 per KB on Ethereum to $0.002. The company targets tokenized bonds, trade finance, and stablecoins. Separately, Quote.Trade shipped prompt-based trading and advanced order types on October 23. The XDC-native dark pool DEX offers more than 1,500 markets with USDC settlement and a hosted MCP server. XDC Foundation also shared founder Chris Mack’s essay on how private execution and public verification can coexist.
Tonight in NYC: Derivatives in Motion. We’re bringing together @GSR_io, @DeriveXYZ, @Lynq_Network & @QAIXAlliance to explore institutional derivatives, liquidity, tokenization & the future of on-chain markets. Brazil, Sibos, and Singapore Keep the Message Global
XDC’s leadership also carried its story across three continents. Diego Consimo of XDC LATAM appeared on CNBC Brazil’s Fast Money in mid-October. He cited nearly BRL 8 billion, about USD 1.4 billion, in tokenized assets issued across Brazil. Banks, securitizers, and credit originators all contribute to that market-wide figure. Meanwhile, The Fintech Times published an interview with Atul Khekade from Sibos Miami on October 13. Khekade discussed real-time settlement, tokenization, and the role AI can play in bank modernization. In Singapore, Ritesh Kakkad spent TOKEN2049 Week hosting XDC side events with QAIX Alliance and other partners.
Podcasts, Interviews, and Panels Carry XDC’s Story From Singapore to Sao Paulo
Two Podcasts Put AI Agents in Plain Language
The XDC APAC Podcast opened the month on October 2. Produced with QAIX Alliance, the episode asked what AI agents that pay look like in practice. It covered XDC AI, stablecoin payments, and everyday use cases. Three weeks later, the XDC MENA Podcast turned to XENIE, the AI intelligence layer for TradeFinex Network. Host Rebecah Dausen and XDC engineer Tarun Sharma argued that smarter agents need trusted data and auditable actions. They named identity, intent, and integrity as the three foundations for institutional AI. Notably, that framing matches the Concordium integration, since both treat verified identity as a starting point. As a result, the two episodes reached different regions with one consistent message.

XDC Network framed the interview around positioning its infrastructure for the future of institutional finance. Together, the two appearances put XDC in front of a Brazilian business audience and a global banking crowd.
XDC Network was featured on @otimesbrasil — CNBC, with Diego Consimo, Head of @xdc_latam , joining Marcelo Favalli on Fast Money to discuss tokenization and the evolution of blockchain-based financial infrastructure in Brazil. With nearly BRL 8 billion — approximately USD 1.4 billion — in tokenized assets issued in Brazil, XDC Network is helping bring banks, securitization companies, credit originators, and other financial institutions on-chain. @DConsimo ‘s work in the Brazilian market has been instrumental in expanding XDC’s institutional presence and strengthening its position as a leading infrastructure for tokenization in the country. The growing visibility of tokenization in mainstream financial media reflects its increasing relevance to capital markets, connecting blockchain technology with real economic activity. @XDCNetwork continues to support this transformation, building the infrastructure for institutional adoption at scale. #XDCNetwork #Tokenization #RWA #Blockchain #TimesBrasil #CNBC #FastMoney #DigitalAssets #CapitalMarkets

TOKEN2049 Week in Singapore
In Singapore, Ritesh Kakkad spent TOKEN2049 Week hosting XDC side events with QAIX Alliance and other partners. On October 6, XDC Innov Labs and its co-hosts held a Digital Assets C-Suite Panel and Luncheon. The session focused on institutional adoption and the practical side of digital assets. XDC Network thanked the co-hosts for bringing the right people into the room. Consequently, the event gave the validator and agent announcements that followed a room of institutional contacts to build on.
Great conversations today on institutional adoption and the practical side of digital assets. Thanks to @XDCInnovLabs and the co-hosts for bringing the right people into the room during #TOKEN2049

What October 2026 Actually Signaled
October 2026 started with a new identity for XDC’s agent business. The XDC SI rebrand aligned the product with the language of US policy. Moreover, the platform shipped real infrastructure under that name. Concordium badges let counterparties confirm a verified owner before they transact. Meanwhile, the public facilitator lowers the barrier for any service to accept agent payments. Together, these pieces move XDC SI from a marketplace concept toward working accountability and settlement rails.
Second, the validator set kept adding regulated operators with distinct strengths. MoneyGram brings global payments reach, while Taurus brings bank-grade custody infrastructure. Amber Premium, in turn, adds a licensed Singapore platform. MoneyGram’s seat covers consensus rather than remittance flows, and that distinction matters. The SBI and Shinhan MOU, plus the Robinhood and CoinTrade listings, round out a month focused on access. Next, Hong Kong FinTech Week and DAF New York in November will test whether these pieces produce named deployments. For now, the rails and the identity layer both sit in place.
Meet XDC team at the events worldwide
