HashPack Tokenized Stocks Arrive on Hedera: SODAX Powers a Path to Robinhood’s Tesla and Apple Tokens

HashPack is partnering with SODAX to bring cross-network RWAs to Hedera, giving over one million wallet users a path to Robinhood Stock Tokens like Tesla and Apple.

HashPack announced on September 14 that it is bringing tokenized stocks to its wallet. The integration runs on SODAX, a cross-network execution layer that already lists Hedera among its supported chains. As a result, HashPack users will soon gain a route into Robinhood Stock Tokens covering names like Tesla and Apple. Notably, the feature is still in development. Both companies describe it as coming “soon,” and neither has published a go-live date. However, the pieces behind the announcement are already in place, and they explain why this move matters for Hedera.

What HashPack and SODAX Announced

HashPack framed the partnership as more than a new market inside the app. The team called it “a whole new category of assets” for the Hedera ecosystem. Additionally, HashPack pitched the launch to builders, not just holders, as something to “connect with, create around, and grow from.” SODAX followed with its own post stating that HashPack users “will soon have a path to holding Tesla, Apple and more, through Robinhood stocks.” Importantly, SODAX described the support as “direct to Hedera,” which signals native access rather than a redirect to another chain’s wallet. The announcement lines up with a comment May Chan, HashPack co-founder and CEO, made in a Hedera case study earlier this year. She said she saw HashPack “building user-facing solutions that will help give users access to RWAs.”

Why HashPack Is the Right Entry Point

HashPack is the default front door to Hedera. The wallet has passed one million created accounts and serves over 90 percent of Hedera’s monthly active users, according to Hedera’s case study. Furthermore, users hold more than $1 billion in assets across HashPack wallets. That scale means any asset class HashPack adds reaches most of the network’s active base on day one. The wallet has also spent 2026 turning itself into a cross-chain gateway. In February, HashPack shipped in-wallet cross-chain swaps through LetsExchange. Consequently, tokenized stocks extend a strategy that already exists rather than starting a new one.

How SODAX Makes Cross-Network RWAs Work

SODAX grew out of the ICON Network and the Balanced DeFi protocol. In 2025, both merged into a single cross-network system anchored on Sonic as its hub chain. Meanwhile, ICX and BALN migrated into one token, SODA, which carries a fixed 1.5 billion supply cap. The ICON chain itself shuts down on December 31, 2026. SODAX’s core design is intent-based execution. A user states an outcome, such as swapping HBAR for a tokenized stock, and independent solvers compete to fill it. As a result, the user never touches a bridge, a wrapped token, or a manual route across chains. SODAX documentation lists 21 supported networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana, Stellar, and Hedera. Its Hedera footprint has grown quickly. SODAX joined The Hashgraph Association on June 4, and on September 9 it whitelisted 16 assets for Hedera. That list includes USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL, HBAR, and SODA, all reachable by any partner app built on the SODAX SDK.

Where Robinhood Stock Tokens Come From

Robinhood launched its first Stock Tokens in June 2025 for EU users on Arbitrum One. Then, on July 1, 2026, it launched Robinhood Chain mainnet, an Ethereum Layer-2 built on Arbitrum technology. The new Stock Tokens live on that chain and trade 24/7. Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited issues them as tokenized debt securities. Holders receive economic exposure to the underlying shares, but they do not hold legal rights to those shares. Crucially, each token is a standard ERC-20 held in self-custody. Users can transfer them, post them as collateral, and trade them on Uniswap, 1inch, and other venues. That composability is what lets SODAX solvers source them for Hedera users. Robinhood offers over 190 Stock Tokens across more than 120 countries. Notably, the product remains unavailable in the United States and restricted in Canada, the UK, and Switzerland. Demand has been real. In late July, CoinDesk reported that tokenized assets on Robinhood Chain grew fivefold in under two weeks to roughly $70 million.

What This Means for Hedera

Hedera has spent 2026 building institutional tokenization rails, from Asset Tokenization Studio to Archax’s streaming cash flows. However, most of that activity targets issuers, not retail holders. HashPack’s move fills the other side of the market. It gives everyday Hedera users a consumer-grade way to hold liquid, recognizable equities. In contrast to earlier tokenized securities on Hedera, these assets already carry deep liquidity on another chain. SODAX simply extends that liquidity to Hedera through intents. The open questions are practical. HashPack has not said whether tokens will appear as native HTS assets or as routed positions. Likewise, Robinhood’s jurisdictional limits will carry through to HashPack users. Still, the direction is clear. Wallets are becoming gateways, and Hedera’s biggest wallet just pointed itself at Wall Street.
